Red apple in a book

Food is such an important part of our lives. It permeates every aspect of our society today from nutrition to culture, to personal taste and to our own health. Food Stories is happy to extend the opportunity for guest bloggers to post their own food stories on our site. We are accepting submissions for any recipes or articles related to food. You could write about your own food experiences, a humorous story about your family food, food as medicine, special diets, nutrition, food science, cultural aspects of food or anything, really.

  3. I smile every week when this post goes up. It just cracks me up, all these food holidays. It’s astronomical.

  4. I’m loving this. Did not know it was garlic month. Had I known, I would have had a recipe for every week. Love, love. Sharing.

    • Hey, there’s still time. It’s National Garlic month until the end of April ;)
By the way, I’m heading over to your blog, right now, to check it out. Thx for stopping by, Bren!

  5. Too many foodie holidays to decide from :D

    • I know, almost too many which is why I’m tossing out the guest blogger offer. It’s hard to write about a food that you’re not fond of and there are a few out there … Thx for stopping by Food Stories, Barbara!

  7. National Garlic Month? Now, that’s something I could get into…. Green garlic, I think…. I have the story!

  8. I believe I will have to do something for the National Shrimp Scampi day coming up. Seafood plays a big role in our meal planning as it’s easy to get in Florida and most importantly, it’s low in calories and fat. Depending how you prepare it of course.

    • Excellent! My hubby and I don’t eat shrimp that often so I was trying to figure out what I was going to prepare/post for that day! I’ll send you an email. By the way, we have a guest spot coming up for blueberry pie day and I can’t wait to read it :-)
