In honor of National Picnic Day, and in keeping with definition number 1, dear hubby and I decided to have a backyard picnic in the sun with our two furry, feline friends.

There must be a food day for every day of the year. That is a great way to get inspired. Now is the time to get out before it gets too hot. Your meal does look healthy as well as tasty, especially that chicken salad! I am sure that afternoon was enjoyed by all-even the cats!

* That’s so funny because I thought yours looked so much better than mine.
* Fruit Salad was nothing fancy – 1 can No Sugar Added peaches, 1 can NSA pears, 1 can NSA mandarin oranges, 1 can NSA pineapple chunks, 1 small jar maraschino cherries (rinsed), handful of chopped walnuts, just enough whipped cream to bind together.
